Background

Pool Safe approached us to help them build up their rankings and website leads from their site. They had been working with another SEO firm and were having difficulty increasing their rankings and even getting a call back from their contact. We worked with them to understand the advantages of their business model, identify their priority markets and to build out a campaign that helped them increase their search rankings for their target services and markets.

Challenge

Pool Safe services a large area encompassing the majority of Southern California. This makes it difficult to get progress in the local maps as certain areas need to be prioritized over others. After making strong progress in the Los Angeles area, we identified Orange County as the next logical market to target. We also needed to increase overall website leads to justify the cost and resources dedicated to building out the search rankings.

Strategy

After starting work with us, we did an overhaul of their website that included putting an email inquiry form on their home page as well as revising their onsite tags. Next we focused on building out a Los Angeles and Orange County local placement across major directory sites such as Google Places, Bing Local, etc. After that we created unique article content with tags for pool fences and pool covers that linked back to the Pool Safe website. We also worked on competitive link building by doing a crawl of sites linking into Pool Safe's competitors.

Results

After working with Pool Safe for a few months, we managed to increase their website leads from two per week to two per day. Furthermore, we began ranking on the first page across both the Los Angeles and Orange County markets.
