Background

Redmond European is an specialty auto repair shop based in Redmond, WA. They are fully equipped to deal with the ins and outs of delicate European automobiles that others aren’t experienced to handle. Redmond European had some experience optimizing for Google local maps but had hit a point where they weren’t moving up in the rankings at all and couldn’t get placement for any searches conducted in cities outside of Redmond.

Challenge

Although the website had received some rankings and already had a Google places page put in place, the site needed to include a site map, update their header tags and focus on a better distribution of unique content to increase the Google Page Rank.

Strategy

Our first task was to focus on increasing placement across local sites such as Judy’s Book, Yellow Bot, Yahoo Local Directory, etc. We also wanted to increase unique content distribution with tags of carefully targeted keywords as well as working with the web developer to make on-site changes.

Results

In just 3 short months, Redmond European was able to rank in the number 1 position for their top keyword. Furthermore, they were able to finally start to rank on the local maps for areas outside of Redmond.
